About Us

NIRANTHARA

To make people capable to live a quality life with dignity in and around Karnataka.

We started working from the year 1996. Registered on 3rd November 2000 under Society act 1960. We partnered with local organizations in Karnataka, conducted health awareness programs. The year 1996-2000 was the year that drew attention of local, national and global organization to the burden of HIV infection. From the year 1996 to 2010 we focussed our attention on HIV/AIDS and related issues. We mobilised communities that are vulnerable to HIV infection and organised awareness programs in the state. Then we shifted attention to other social issues, and recently we revisited our Vision and Mission, and decided to focus on building skill sets of people.
